The year that was

Today is the 1 st day of December and the first day of summer.  That means sun and often a hint of celebration in the air as the party season for media and marketing industries kicks in.  It’s also an interesting time for last minute RFP activity and finalising programs launched across the year.  December is a useful time to learn from post analysis of campaigns and apply those learnings to plans for 2012.  By this time of year some brands have their 2012 marketing program well established, while others are putting the final touches to next year’s campaigns,  but all of them are collectively relieved that 2011 is almost done and dusted. The promise of a new year just around the corner always offers up the chance to rationalise recent performance and take a well earned break, before returning revived and ready to apply fresh, clean thinking to the 12 months ahead.

 

During 2011, Acumen has launched a wide range of engaging campaigns with the many brands that we have the privilege of partnering with in both New Zealand and Australia.  With a portfolio of some 85 clients across all the different parts of the Acumen business, in corporate, consumer, events, research and design, our teams are always operating at an invigorating and hectic pace no matter what the time of year.  And we wouldn’t have it any other way!

 

We would like to wish all our clients, partners and suppliers the very best for this Christmas season, and we look forward to the new successes to come in 2012.
